One can only hope for a spot like Tortuga Feliz. It is located in the town of Playa Guiones, behind the Nosara Yoga Institute a few minute walk from the beach. We were greeted with an amazing sunset on the night of our arrival, we were quickly reminded that they happen every night and each one is every bit as beautiful as the last.
My sister in law and brother have been gracious as we spent our first week trying to get the hang of the place. Steering us in the direction of used surfboards and the farmer's market. Sharing bits of information they have spent the last few years learning. Muchas Gracias, Paul and Jodie!!!
Our new neighbors showed themselves quickly after our arrival. They are not timid and pretty much just want the food. We did wait a week for the monkey's. The big daddy howler monkey makes a noise only few can imitate. He has been around, but the babies and mamma's just showed up yesterday. It was great to wake up and see them in the trees outside the bedroom window. If you see Sean while he is home, ask him to do his impression.
